I saw your story in Sheep magazine & continued on to your site, all of which I find very informative. Thank you. I just moved from WI to UP of MI this summer. I brought my finest registered Suffolk & 1 Texel ewe I could not part with. I was concerned with lambing in colder temps, parasites, feed change, etc.You have helped greatly with some of my questions as I have had sheep for only 8 yrs. I was very worried about bringing my suffolks here to a colder climate, as I only have an open building for this years lambing & was used to being enclosed. Also I did not know about the cement floors, which is what I had in WI but now have clay also. By the way, I purchased the EZ Milker last year myself-the best money I have ever spent! I would love to learn more about AI as I have a closed flock except for the ram I must bring in yearly. I am interested in talking with anyone who talks sheep. Thanks again for such great info & such a great website!

I love your web page and because of that and your heath status manly CL free. I am looking for a commircial ram to breed to my texel x ewes for a little more leght of lion those british type sufolks a awsome I went to texel not knowing that sufolks could be that thick. I started looking to get back in sheep in the mid 90's remembering the tall long legged sulolks I seen in the 80's and I like soup but love the meaty type best.

Looking forward to hearing from you and seeing those muscle machine
Thank you Patrick

Hello, I have viewed your web page with much interest. I have recently purchased a farm in Muskoka and I am begiing to get information on Sheep husbandry and production. I do not plan to purchase any stock until I have the layout planned and all support items in place including Veterinary services. I am interested to learn more about your sheep and the breeding lines and I a will want to know what your prices would be for a start up flock of 30 - 40 animals.
I will appreciate any feedback that you can forward to me.

Thank you,

Stewart Day

Dear Bill,
Welcome into the 21st century.I finally got a computer.Although I rather look at a back end of a sheep, then to try figuring out these wires on the back of the computer. The barn is pretty quiet right now.As you know nieghbors dogs killed all are sheep.I was tempted to put one behind the apple tree.Unfortunetly the owner was walking with him.Hope your lambing season, goes well.Talk to you soon . Say hello to your wife.Im still thinking about that sudan grass

Dave
